The College of St. Isidore is a chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism , located in the Barony of Calafia of the Kingdom of Caid . It's modern location is San Diego State University in San Diego, California, USA.

The SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) is a not-for-profit, educational, and historical organization dedicated to reliving and recreating the Middle Ages, as they should have been, from approximately the latter Roman era to 1650 A.D. We seek to learn about the beauty and chivalry of our past and to share with others the wonders of medieval Europe. We re-create the fun parts, like the feasts, costumes & sword fighting (but leave out the parts like plagues, lice and beheadings).

Our goal is to support SDSU students that are interested in participating in the medieval living history of the SCA. We often have public displays of activities on-campus; wearing medieval clothing, performing period dances, and displays of arts and sciences related to the Medieval and Renaissance time periods. We also regularly hold tournaments for those practicing the SCA martial arts of armored and rapier combat, as well as feasts and revels! If enough students are involved, we will also schedule regular on-campus martial combat practices.
